In this society that we are living in,
media plays one of the biggest roles in our lives. Maybe we do not acknowledge
it but it influences us one way or another. Media affects the way an audience
may think or behave. This topic contains a long history of politics over the
debate of whether the existence of media is positive or negative. Due to
different perspectives and opinions, this argument can proceed for centuries without
an ending; however, I am a big fan of media so I would like to discuss
and blog about this topic in a most entertaining, positive and appropriate
manner possible. I will be creating posts keeping everyone up-to-date with interesting discussions and shocking news along with my opinions, and I would appreciate your
comments, opinions or feedback. But, before I start going crazy with blogging,
I would like to hear your opinions about media. What do you think of media? Do
you believe it creates a mess to the society or is it just entertainment? I
hope for all to enjoy participating throughout discussions while maintaining

I believe that media can be both entertaining and a mess, celebrity wise. Whenever i read magazines, the front page is always a shocking/embarrassing gossip about a celebrity. I find those kind of things entertaining because I find it interesting that celebrities are celebrities because they've got the fame and fortune, and we think that they live happily ever after, but no, the magazines and the media portrays all their flaws, exposing every deep dark secret they get footage on; and I enjoy reading that in magazines. On the other hand, I also believe that media creates a mess in the society because people/fans look up to these celebrities and if the media publicizes every mistake they make, it ruins their image and also causes public humiliation for the celebrity; which causes them to breakdown, or even their downfall. To conclude, whether the media strives for entertainment or a mess to the society, it's all about the money that they care about, and that's not good because money is the root of all evil.
